The safety and security of our customers is one of DS highest priorities. While we put a number of technological protections and services in place to ensure that our transaction process is extremely safe and that our customers' information is secure, please read our Ordering and Billing Policy for additional information on how to safeguard your on-line transaction.

128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Technology

DS uses the more powerful 128-bit SSL protocol to protect all customers’ sensitive information during on-line transactions.  It is the strongest industry-standard in data encryption technology used to establish secure connection, server authentication, and message integrity over the Internet.

Fraud Protection and Address Verification System (AVS)

For all on-line transactions, DS employs a fraud protection service to verify all customers’ name and credit card information.  Suspicious transactions as exhibited with stolen and fraudulent credit card activities will be blocked.  For any inquires concerning transaction restrictions made against you that may be in error or to report a fraudulent transaction, please contact us at webmaster at transitcomputing.com.

transitcomputing understands the importance of privacy for our customers and how their information is being used.  This notice contains our privacy policy.  By visiting our website, you have agreed to our Privacy Notice.  Any questions concerning our privacy policy can be directed to webmaster at transitcomputing.com.

Information you provided:  transitcomputing will only share and store the information you provided to financial institution or their partners for ordering and billing processing.  Market research and analysis may be performed to enhance the product(s) to improve users’ experience and sales.  Any personally identifiable information will be stripped from the database.  Customers’ information will not be sold to third party vendors.

Law compliance and credit risks and fraud protection:  transitcomputing will release account and other personal information as necessary to:

  • Comply with the law or law enforcement agencies
  • Reducing fraud and credit risks

Sharing your information:  Should it be necessary for your information to go to third parties for purposes others than stated above, a notice will be sent to you and you will have the opportunity to reject the sharing of your information.

Cookies and automatic information gathering method:  transitcomputing does not use cookies or any method to automatically gather personally identifiable information.

Does transitcomputing.com Share the Information It Receives?

We DO NOT sell your private information, including email address, to other companies.

No Spyware or Virus’s are included with the transitcomputing software.

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others.  We share customer information only as described below and with subsidiaries transitcomputing.com.  

Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control:  We work closely with our affiliated businesses.  You can tell when a third party is involved in your transactions, and we share customer information related to those transactions with that third party.  This is such companies as those who process credit cards, not marketing firms.

Agents:  We may on occasion employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf.  They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Promotional Offers:  Sometimes we send offers to selected groups of transitcomputing.com customers on behalf of other businesses.  When we do this, we do not give that business your name and address.  If you do not want to receive such offers you have the opportunity to state this when you order.  Saying "no" will mean you are not going to receive notice when new dancers are available.

Business Transfers:  As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries, or business units. How Secure Is Information About Me?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.   We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.   Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.


Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions

If you choose to visit transitcomputing.com, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our conditions of use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of Washington.   If you have any concern about privacy at transitcomputing.com, please contact us with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it.
